Mutual Aid Tompkins serves the community by sharing information and resources for basic needs including Food Sharing Cabinets. With a “take what you need, leave what you can” philosophy, they allow community members to share resources. Use of the cabinets is anonymous, unrestricted, and available 24/7. Menstrual items are often requested at the cabinets, items crucial to women’s health. The grant funding will allow the purchase of menstrual items for distribution in the cabinets.
