Southside Community Center’s Black Girl Alchemy Program provides mentorship, and academic support to empower Black and Brown girls across Tompkins County.
Participants build supportive relationships, reflect on their experiences, and develop the
confidence to use their voices in spaces that have often excluded them. The program also offers tutoring, and connections with women of color in higher education and professional fields. This fosters belonging, educational growth, and civic empowerment while preparing participants to lead change in their communities.
